MISSION STATEMENT

Rescuing vulnerable children and their families from difficult and dangerous situations and providing a safe-haven for them to grow and flourish is only the beginning of what we do.

We believe that the real victories are changed lives.

And we know that from those changed lives, come changed stories.

Through the grace and love of Jesus Christ, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and selflessness of those who serve alongside us, our vision is to see those changed stories transformed into Kingdom Purpose.

We are committed to being “more than just a rescue plan”.

OUR 5 PILLARS:

  1. SHELTER

  2. ESTABLISH

  3. EQUIP

  4. DISCIPLE

  5. SEND

  • Provide a safe-haven for vulnerable children, from new-borns through to teens and young adulthood, at risk from poverty, crime, addiction and physical, sexual and emotional abuse. When the opportunity is identified to facilitate real change, we will reach out to guide and support the extended family, offering a safe residential ‘home’ environment in which to establish everyday life-skills, greater self-sufficiency, spiritual growth and most importantly, re-establish the parent/child bond.; ultimately, ensuring the child has a future that is safe and secure and full of love.

  • In addition to making sure our children experience the normal joys of childhood; equip them with a strong Christian education through our Church, School and College programs, along with providing an impressive range of sport and extra curricular activities, whilst developing in them a solid moral foundation and effective social and relationship skills.

  • Continually display the character of Christ and BE ‘The Church’ who proclaims the good news of The Gospel and the message of salvation to those we rescue and support, to those that work alongside us and within every community and every situation where God places us, with the ultimate desire that they might have a personal and life changing encounter with Jesus Christ.

  • Develop a body of believers, disciples and evangelists committed to a common purpose and mission who are willing to roll up their sleeves and becomes the hands and feet of Jesus.

Values

Everything that we do is established on the solid foundations of The Gospel and underpinned by our 6 Core Values:

  • Here at AIM we strive to make sure that all of our relationships and interactions; from the children and young people we serve, to those we touch through one of our outreach ministries, to each and every one of our AIM family; are guided by a genuine and heartfelt love and concern for each other.

  • Our staff, volunteers, children and students at AIM thrive in an environment in which each person is willing to serve the other in a spirit of humility, equality and mutual respect.

  • In the Spirit of the book of Proverbs, the children, the students and the staff of AIM recognize that wise choices and wise decisions are paramount in guiding everything we do and say.

  • At AIM nothing is more desirable (or admirable) than passionate people who give 100% in everything they do - at work, in the classroom, in worship and as they approach every friendship, task or challenge - Zeal is how we roll!

  • The book of Psalms opens by saying how good and pleasant it is for ‘brethren’ to live together in unity. The ‘family’ of AIM are a close-knit team, who enjoy each other’s company during work hours and beyond. In this atmosphere, hearts are knit together and loyal and close friendships become our specialty!

  • An old-fashioned word to some, the word purity denotes a clean way of living. At AIM our goal is to live lives that, at all times and, despite being surrounded by the allure and pressures of the world around us, are pleasing to the Lord - body, soul and spirit.
